When Disaster Strikes: Flood Buckets

Every year, people across the United States are affected by devastating storms and other disasters that result in flooding. The United Methodist Committee on Relief’s (UMCOR's) mission is to help people affected by natural- and human-caused disasters.

In the U.S., UMCOR helps flood victims begin the overwhelming task of cleaning up following a disaster. Concord-St. Andrews UMC, through our Missions and Outreach Committee, is committed to doing our part to help our flood-impacted neighbors, and you can help, too.

CSA is collecting supplies to fill 40 flood buckets until Sunday, November 24, that will be delivered to our local UMCOR Relief Supply Warehouse. You can drop off supplies at CSA or donate toward the purchase of supplies for the effort. The estimated value of one kit is $75 and every donation counts. You can make checks payable to Concord-St. Andrews UMC. 100% of your donation will go toward providing kits to flood victims.
