The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul.

Dear Friend,

New Year, New Planning for Taxes
Jack Brooks, Executive Director Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation

The tax bill that passed at the end of 2017 will bring many questions in 2018. Over the next few issues of this newsletter, we will explore the impact on the local church in three key areas of donation. We will look at the impact on annual gifts, capital gifts, and legacy gifts. Each of the three areas are important to fully fund ministry in 2018 and beyond. Knowing how to apply the changes and encourage generosity will be our focus.  I look forward to the conversations.
Be the Blessing,

Jack
